Tony Bugica, a proud fourth-generation farmer, has rooted his life in the rich soil of agriculture. From his earliest days working alongside his family in the fields to launching Bugica Landscaping and Excavation, Tony’s journey is a testament to passion, perseverance, and innovation. His leadership transformed his company into a powerhouse in the Reno-Tahoe area, where his team of over 120 skilled professionals managed more than 500 properties. With a reputation for groundbreaking designs and stunning landscapes, Tony’s work earned widespread acclaim, solidifying his status as a visionary in the industry.
Driven by an unyielding passion for the land, Tony relocated to Sonoma County, where he further refined his expertise in viticulture. He began as Ranch Manager for the esteemed Dry Creek Olive Company, then advanced his craft with Grey Creek Viticultural Services, where he developed a deep understanding of the intricacies of vine management. At Bacchus Vineyard Management, Tony had the privilege of managing over 1,000 acres of vineyards alongside industry legend Glenn Alexander, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the art of farming.
Since 2017, Tony has been with Atlas Vineyard Management and is currently the Chief Operations Officer. In this role, he oversees vineyard operations in California, Texas, Oregon, and Washington. His position allows him to drive innovation and sustainability in farming, ensuring that the traditions of the past meet the possibilities of the future. Tony's commitment to the agricultural community runs deep. He actively contributes to various boards, including Alexander Valley Healthcare, North Bay Girls Softball, and the Alexander Valley School Parents Club. His past leadership roles as board president of the Geyserville Chamber of Commerce and La Familia Sana highlight his dedication to fostering a thriving community and nurturing the next generation of leaders.
