Barry brings over thirty years of financial management experience in the wine industry to his CEO role Atlas Vineyard Management. He also draws on his experience as an accomplished collegiate athlete to inspire a winning team spirit in the company, which extends to AVM’s clients and partners.

Prior to founding Atlas Vineyard Management, Barry was the Director of Financial Operations for Premier Pacific Vineyards where he was responsible for more than 35 separate vineyard LLC's that encompassed the development and production of more than 1600 acres of high quality wine grape vineyards for some of the largest institutional investors in the world.
Barry’s winery experience also included the roles of Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, and Controller for over eight years at Domaine Chandon, and Newton Winery with Moet Wine Estates.
He began his career with over eight years within the Pepsi Co family, both at the Taco Bell and Frito Lay Headquarters, and four years at a Frito Lay Manufacturing Facility. Barry continues to utilize daily structured training and workflow efficiency planning methods and strategies he learned as part of the Pepsi Co teams.
Barry was a scholar athlete at Fresno State University where he was an All American Placekicker on the football team holding 19 school and conference records including being in the Top Ten All Time field goal leaders and kicks scorers in Division 1 NCAA History. He received his B.S. in Business Administration and then his M.B.A. while playing in the World League of American Football. Wine is part of his heritage as the grandson of an Italian immigrant who tended a home wine cellar at his ranch on a walnut orchard just outside of Stockton. Barry is proud to continue that cultural tradition of getting back to the land that has carried is family over the generations.
