Jackie grew up in Antioch, California and studied Agriculture with a focus in Plant and Soil Science at California State University, Chico. She found her passion for the outdoors and Agriculture early in her life and decided to pursue her dream of farming. Jackie has been farming California winegrapes for the last 15 years. She began her career at Wente Vineyards in Livermore, California. She later moved on to Sonoma to work for Price Family Vineyards. Jackie holds her Pest Control Advisor license for the last 10 years. She enjoys spending time in the vines identifying pest and disease issues. She has a passion for sustainable agriculture and educating our consumers on where their food comes from. Jackie recently relocated to Fredericksburg, Texas to expand her winegrowing skills with a new terroir. She joined the Atlas team in the winter of 2022. She has taken her passion for excellence to the Hill Country of Texas. She hopes to take Texas winegrowing to the next level with her experience and determination. When Jackie isn’t in the vines, she can be found running marathons across the nation. She enjoys challenging her body with new distances and paces.
