Tony Rose is a fourth-generation farmer from the rural communities of Lake County, California. Raised in a family dedicated to agriculture, he spent his formative years working in his family’s Bartlett pear orchard and his grandfather’s cattle and alfalfa ranch, where he developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors, a strong work ethic, and foundational knowledge of the farming industry. After graduating from high school in 1996, Tony gained extensive experience working in various apple and pear orchards before transitioning to the wine grape industry in 2002.
In 2004, Tony married and began building a family with his wife. Over the years, he worked for several vineyard management companies in the Lake County area before relocating to the Lodi region in 2014. There, he managed day-to-day vineyard operations for Jahant Vineyards. In 2024, Tony joined Atlas Vineyard Management as Director of Operations for the Lodi Region. In addition to his role at Atlas, Tony serves as President of the Lodi District Grape Growers Association. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, cooking, traveling, and volunteering as a 4H swine leader. Above all, he is dedicated to his children and is deeply involved in their daily activities. Tony and his family cherish their life in the Lodi area, where they have built invaluable relationships and friendships.
