Taylor Brooks grew up in Sacramento, California, where their family farmed walnuts and row crops. He earned a bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University, graduating magna cum laude, and later completed a Master’s in Finance, graduating with honors from Saint Mary’s College of California.
Taylor began his career in audit at Grant Thornton, where he spent four years building a strong foundation in financial reporting and compliance. He then joined CalSTRS’s private equity investment team, focusing on direct investments in the technology and financial services sectors.
Taylor then held a corporate finance and M&A role at a high-growth, private equity-backed financial services firm. He joined Atlas Vineyard Management in 2024 to lead and expand the company’s corporate finance and M&A efforts, bringing a unique blend of investment acumen and operational experience to the team.
