Jared Brown grew up on a family farm in the Milton-Freewater area, cultivating a deep connection to agriculture from an early age. After graduating from Oregon State University in 2002 with a degree in horticulture, Jared returned to manage 1,100 acres of apples and 50 acres of wine grapes on the family farm. His role evolved from assistant manager in 2006, where he expanded the vineyard by 150 acres, to general manager of farming operations from 2015 to 2022. In 2023, Jared joined the Atlas Vineyard Management team, bringing over 20 years of expertise in farming, particularly in the Rocks District and Walla Walla AVA. His leadership has been pivotal in developing an additional 400 acres of wine grapes in the Walla Walla AVA, further advancing his commitment to viticulture and agricultural excellence.
