Jared Brown was raised on a family farm in the Milton-Freewater area, where he developed a strong connection to agriculture from an early age. After earning a degree in horticulture from Oregon State University in 2002, Jared returned to the family farm to manage 1,100 acres of apples and 50 acres of wine grapes. His career in vineyard management began as Assistant Manager in 2006, where he played a key role in expanding the vineyard by an additional 150 acres. Jared later advanced to the position of General Manager of Farming Operations, where he oversaw all agricultural activities from 2015 to 2022.
In 2023, Jared joined Atlas Vineyard Management, bringing over 20 years of experience in farming and viticulture, with particular expertise in the Rocks District and Walla Walla AVA. Throughout his career, Jared has been instrumental in the development of an additional 400 acres of wine grapes in the Walla Walla AVA, demonstrating his commitment to advancing viticulture and agricultural excellence. His leadership continues to drive innovation and quality in the vineyard management industry.
